Why do you want
to study the Qur'an?
Before you begin, there is one question every student must answer — not with words, but from the deepest part of their heart.
Many students begin the Qur'an journey without ever answering this question.
They open the Mushaf. They attend the first lesson. They memorize the first verse. And then — weeks or months later — they stop. Not because the Qur'an was too hard. But because they never truly knew why they started.
The Prophet ﷺ said: "Verily, actions are only by intentions." The Niyyah is not just a formality — it is the root from which everything grows. Without a clear intention, even the greatest journey loses its way.
At Sirat Academy, we believe the first lesson is purpose. We help every student — child or adult — answer this question clearly, so their Qur'an journey begins on solid ground and never runs out of fuel.
